1858 January 13, 2013, 05:40 PM You can't go wrong with a Nightforce. I have a 3-15x50mm F1 on order. I've shot a number of rifles with Nightforce optics mounted and the glass is good but the adjustments are excellent being very positive and extremely repeatable. There's a reason why many of the best long range match shooters use Nightforce ... by "match" I mean square range with paper targets such as F-Class, Benchrest etc. taliv January 13, 2013, 05:54 PM i agree with what 1858 said, and will add that some of their reticles are better than others so put some thought into which you choose. also, as you may know, they just announced several new products, so it's quite likely that you will find some good deals on their current/older models as others rush to upgrade. WCT January 13, 2013, 06:18 PM thanks for the info. Now just need to find the right place to buy one theres a big diff in price for the same scope any ideas? taliv January 13, 2013, 06:22 PM always check samplelist.com first and see if there's a used/demo one 1858 January 13, 2013, 06:25 PM Bear Basin gives you the option for 12 months interest free ... not a bad deal really. They have quite a few demo and closeout scopes too. http://www.bearbasin.com/nightforce-scope.htm WCT January 13, 2013, 06:47 PM thanks ill look them up Loc n Load January 13, 2013, 10:19 PM I have been a long range (1000yd) shooter for years and shoot a lot of 50 BMG, 338 lapua, 300 rum, etc.....the Nightforce is without a doubt an excellent optic......when you see what the 50 cal competitiors are shooting at the FCSA nationals, the majority of them are Nightforce.....These are folks who shoot sub MOA groups with 50 BMG rifles at 1000yds...Quite impressive. Nightforce makes a great optic. TexasPatriot.308 January 13, 2013, 10:23 PM cant see a reason to buy one myself. Zen Archery January 13, 2013, 10:24 PM Love mine. Skylerbone January 14, 2013, 12:20 AM I think it's an excellent part of the right system but still only one part. You will be stuck with one less thing to blame if you miss though. dubbleA January 14, 2013, 01:07 AM cant see a reason to buy one myself. That was real informative  :banghead: You'll will find that Nightforce makes some robust scopes that have great optical clarity, repeatable turret adjustments, a good reticle selection and illumination comes standard. Other added features include first and second plane reticle options, MOA and MIL adjustments and models with zero stops. They are certainly not for everyone but they do have a large following with folks shooting benchrest,F class, tactical and hunters that demand the best out of their equipment. ironworkerwill January 14, 2013, 12:04 PM I been throwing hints (for my darling to let me get my self one) for a while. I really want a N/F or a U.S. Optic. I'd settle for the N/F. It's gonna take a lot of shoes and new "outfits" to catch me up.
