I ordered somè ammo from Widners a coupleof weeks ago and a week later my credit card was charged for part of my order{422.00} Tried to phone them without any success and the email contact does not go thru.Have you heard of any problems with this company?Any suggestions on how to handle this? OK,I read their notice, guess I'll just have to wait.

So you're the second person posting on this thread with this problem. I guess I'm glad no one answered the phone when I called today to order some .38 Super.

Hmm....

The good news is that you used a credit card and can dispute the charge, if it comes to that. Keep in mind that there is a time limit to initiate the disupute.

Every gun and ammo dealer is swamped right now.

I've been dealing with Widener's for over 20 years, they're one of the best gun companies out there.

Go to their website and read the notice on their home page:

Be patient. If you haven't heard anything after 2 or 3 weeks, then consider disputing charges. But right now, most companies are at least 2 weeks behind on shipping.

I've only ordered from them once, but I'd order from them again in a heartbeat. I'd imagine they're swamped right now.
