Just got it today($10) and haven't shot with it yet but I love the way it feels. It just seems to fit my hand perfect.I put these on revolvers in the past and also liked them.My one concern was the gun printing more(it's my CCW) but I think the Houge is actually thinner than the stock grip(although a little longer....I can't wait to shoot it with the full house 357's and see if it makes a difference...

Hey Tony,

Yea, they're nice. Have you tied a smooth wood grip for CCW handguns? They tend to not grab the material as much and let the material slide over the grip easier, therefore, being less noticable. Although, they are a little thicker.

The monogrip made my little .357 about a thousand times more shootable at the range. Unfortunatly as Marshall points out they REALLY like to grab onto your clothes when you carry them. I switched back to the stock grips which for some reason arent as "grabby".

I just put some Hogue monogrips on my Ruger SP101 also and I love them. I got the plastic ones instead of the rubber ones just because they are 'slicker' and do not 'grab' the clothes in CC.

I can't STAND the 'grabby' rubber grips for carry. I also replaced some rubber ones on my Kimber compact for the same reason.

When I switched mine, it made 357Mag's shootable compared to the old grips. I don't think they are that great for ccw as everybody mentioned they are grabby; a nice Cocobolo might be perfect for ccw... then it looks like a S&W Lady J..

If by any chance you have any interest in Crimson Trace grips ... the ones for SP-101 are good .. they are chequered but plastic ... and feel good, even with hot loads. OK - not quite as ''cushiony'' as Hogues .. and I had some of those on pre CTC grips ... but they sure did hang on clothes.

These CT grips are non grab but .. IMO pretty close to ideal .. well for me anyways.
