Most quick access firearm storage does not seem to be sized for pistols with suppressors attached. My wife and I have been discussing adding a suppressed pistol to our home defense set up and have been looking at how best to store such a weapon that also allowed for reasonably ready access but kept it secure from the little ones.
Ideas?

I got a Barska Biometric rifle/shotgun RSC. Won't stop a serious burglar, but will keep the kids out. If you get one, PM me and I'll forward the correct programming sequence to you.

I've recently ordered a suppressor for my nightstand G17. I don't usually have kids in the house, but will occasionally be visited by grandkids. I'm going to look into a lock for my nightstand table drawer. Otherwise, I'll just have to put the G17 up where the kids can't get to it.

I second adding the lock to the drawer. A suppressed firearm cannot be overlooked for HD!
