The legislation to adopt tougher gun laws in New York passed the state Assembly this afternoon, 104-43.
Seven Democrats—Robin Schimminger and Dennis Gabryszak of Buffalo; Anthony Brindisi of Utica; Bill Magee of Syracuse; Aillen Gunther of the Catskills; Donna Lupardo of Binghamton and James Skoufis of Orange County—voted no.
Five Republicans from Long Island voted yes: Brian Curran, Chad Lupinacci,, David McDonough, Tom McKevitt and Dan Losquadro.
