The comments for your order are: Thank you for your online order placed with Springfield Armory.

On January 12th, 13th, and 14th we experienced such an influx of online orders that we exceeded the threshold of our subscription with our credit card processor. The result is that the processor did not process those transactions and did not retain the credit card numbers with the orders.

We wish to assure you in every way that your credit card information has not been compromised in any way, shape or form. Springfield Armory takes everynecessary precaution to protect and assure our customer’s information is protected and remains secure.

The issue experienced with the credit card processor has since been resolved and will not be a problem going forward.

However, in order to process your online order, we will need you to email the 8 middle digits of your credit card number to
weborders (at) springfield-armory.com. We already have the first 4 and the last 4. Due to the high volume of calls that we are experiencing at this time emailing the information will be the quickest way for your order to be processed and shipped out to you. Please reference your web order number and the name that the order was placed under in your email. Once this is complete, we will verify and process your order. We will hold your order for 10 days and then cancel it if we haven’t heard back from you.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and greatly appreciate your business.

Your order has been updated to the following status:
New status: Pending

Please reply to this email if you have any questions.

If only they'd required their customers to show proof of contacting their reps before finalizing the transactions, all that buying may have meant something...
