Haven't seen any posts and the day is fast approaching.
IL people please sign up for this years IGOLD rally at the capital in Springfield.
We will easily have thousands upon thousands of citizens rallying for our rights. It's probably the single biggest annual rally in Springfield. With our recent 7th district court win this may be the biggest turn out yet.
Last year packets were handed out with form post cards to hand out to our elected officials. Meet like minded people and have an opportunity to check out the capital building if you have never been there. It's really quite a beautiful building.
It's on a week day so please arrange time off now if needed.
All the info and bus reservations are at http://igold.isra.org/
See you there.

Dodge boy, bring your friends and their wives too.
Tactikel, the event is during the week because the L in IGOLD stands for lobby. A day is chosen base on the fact that the legislature will be in session. That's why weekends aren't chosen.
Part of the event is thousands of gun owners visiting the offices of our reps and senators to drop off notecards with our requirements and possibly meet with them. It's a big event.

I will be there, up front with the rest of the gals. Fortunately, I was able to get a vacation day.
I attended last year as my first time. It was a powerful experience to be with so many others, exercising our 1st Amendment Rights in support of our 2nd.

Because most of the politicians don't work weekends. We need to be there when they are.
That said most of the anti-gun politicians won't be there or in their offices to talk to. They call in sick!

Yep, after all these years I have yet to see Quinn, Madigan, or Cullerton in person. Weasels.
