Not sure if this is corporate policy or local policy,

But they are limiting the popular calibers to one box per day, 3 boxes (calibers) total.

So you can get a box of 22LR, 223 and 9mm but that's it for the day.

Actually pretty reasonable and should help to calm the craziness. Perhaps this should have been implemented earlier?

If they have 9mm in stock, I'm fine with. The only thing I'm running low on (go figure).

I'm not sure I have a problem with it.

The situation reminds me of the OPEC oil embargo of '73-'74 and the Iranian oil crisis of '79. Prices went up and supply was down. Some stations limited purchases to 10 gallons; if they had any gas at all. I remember sitting in long lines for gas on 'my day' - it was an odd-even system based on your license number - if they had any gas.

At least it wasn't a major inconvenience for me because I could fill my '70 Chevy when I could and just park it. Then I'd siphon the gas a gallon at a time for my Yamaha 360 Enduro. That was a cold winter riding that bike to school and work.

I also remember my cousin's funeral in early '74. Some of the local folks showed up at the house with gas cans so the out of town folks could get home.
