Our way of life is under assault. Gun Control will be a serious issue through 2014. The fight to retain our fundamental 2nd Amendment rights is going to be a long road. No one should think that legislation to take guns will stop with the first volley. The liberal campaign machine is ginning up to push this issue hard.

Contacting representatives is critical. I initiated emails again today to each of mine. Staying involved in the process is not an option if we want any resemblance of what we have always known. If the House changes in 2014, gun control will be a sequel to the Obamacare "Yes We Can."

I said it before and Iíll keep saying it. Self-government is not a spectator sport. If we resist this tyrant as unified people we can withstand the next four years. If we do nothing, we will be complicit in our own demise.

There are too many people what want to complain amongst themselves about what is going on but wonít call or write their elected officials. They never seem to have the time to participate in a pro-freedom march or money to donate to a pro-gun lobby.

We have to engage these folks and get them involved.
