The best laid plans for the weekend didn't work out but I managed to squeeze some time in this afternoon, I've been dying to shoot this revolver. I loaded up all 8 moons and let it rip.
The first thing I noticed is how nicely the gun balances and feels, it's just plain right. I'm not used to fixed sights so I just played with it until I got it, it's a very instinctive point and shoot for me. I did find it shot about 4" higher at 10 yards than I expected which, considering any sort of defensive situation, may not be a bad thing; no need to cover the target.
I had a good feeling about this gun or I wouldn't have stewed over it and then bought it. But, I've done that before and come away disappointed and discouraged. Not this one; it walks the walk.
Below is the last target with two moons in it, just squeezing off the rounds seconds apart, all double-action.
