For any of you looking for .223 ammo I recieved a flyer tonight from Natchez and found that they had some in stock. I placed an order (one case of 500 allowable) I wont post the price, it was high but not outrageous if you need it. Good luck if you are looking for any.

Thats the range this stuff is, however, I traded a bunch of ammo for a firearm and then came across a hardship case on a sale of a new Windham Weaponry. Now I needed ammo again. So, bought a little more for the new brass and going to have to reload for the caliber again.

I think it has something to do with places where they have retail stores. There are a few states they won't sell too...there are no stores near me...but they do a state-wide ban on selling to TN and a few others.

I've got some buddies in MS who could order something for me if I really needed it.

Not a bargain at all. However, if someone needs some it beats an empty chamber. I was trying to buy some brass and found that this would be a little easier but not much harder on the wallet. It took me an hour to be able to scroll through the purchase process because of the high volume of traffic trying to buy something. I have a couple of sites that email me when they have something come available that I am looking for. It worked out this time. I was able to purchase a little .22 caliber in this way last week from another site. The Internet is a curse and blessing. I went to my local Wal-Mart the other day and heard my sobbing echoing in the empty ammunition display. All I wanted was a couple of boxes of .22!
