Looks like I'll soon have my 100% legal CCW Permit from a state that reciprocates with Pennsylvania. Be'ins that I go to PA quite a bit I'm looking forward to everytime that I cross the river. My sincere guess is that I can handle it. I'm picturing George Washington with a tear in his eye.
What if it actually turns out that I, in fact, can handle it? Oh dear.

I selfishly don't want to say (subliminal message - Florida) so as to not jinx myself. But there are resources (sm - packing.org ) where you can find out all of the necessary info (sm - $117, fingerprints at your local PD, notarized, passport photo, DD214).

You are I'm sure aware of the limitations on the Florida permit? e.g. No guns that are bigger than what you can conceal under a bathing suit. Not sure how that works here in PA. I think it's no gun bigger than you can hide in the underwear under your trench coat- does give you a bit more flexibility. :D :neener:

2dogs, these are the FLA restrictions as I understand them:

1. I must shoot with one hand only, one hand on pistol, one hand on walker;
2. I must eat dinner at 4:45 pm or face admin revocation of my license;
3. I must trade my Audi for a Caddy while carrying;
4. I must hike my pants my at least 2" than where I would normally wear them while carrying;
5. I am not allowed to vote correctly while in possession of my license;
6. I must walk in a mall while an elderly woman yells at me while carrying;
7. I must take the "Condo & Golf Cart Defense" class at gun skul;
8. I must awaken at 3 in the morning and read my insurance policies while carrying;
9. I must lobby Congress to give me something for just being a certain age while carrying.

If there are others, please advise.

I've had the Unnamed State CCW application sitting around for months, and haven't bothered to fill it in, despite making a lot of trips to both FL and PA. My own experience is that the most hostile thing in PA is the Valley Forge on-ramp, and a CCW wouldn;t help there. :D

P.S. Another restriction is that you have to buy a Glock 30 for the next person who says "pomegranate" to you.
