Hi Marine,
I like the M&P we have but I like my FNS9 even more.
Easier to clean. Truly ambidextrous everything. (I'm a lefty)

Have you gone down and rented all of these and fired a few round yet? What are you looking for in your 9mm?

BTW Like the tag line! :) Only to true!

So you've got one DA/SA, one DA/SA with a safety, and one striker-fired...

I'd say choose the trigger mechanism you like best. That'll narrow your options. Then buy whatever gun fits your hand and you shoot best. You're probably not going to get a bad gun, if you stick to a good company (Sig, Glock, Springfield, Beretta, FN, S&W, etc.)

probably cause its one HUGE chunk of plastic... Years ago I looked at the FNP series and it just felt off... Im sure its a reliable & accurate pistol, just did nothing for me

I don't understand why people can't put what the intended use of the firearm is going to be in their OP?

Looking for my next 9mm

For what? Range, home defense, concealed carry, open carry? All of these requirements? Seriously, this has the most significant bearing on recommendations.

You say next 9mm. Do you already have one? If so what, so we avoid that referral. Looking for a full frame, mid frame, compact, revolver with moon clips?
If you like your XD stick with the maker. I have my bias with Ruger and the SR9c, but if you found your liking in the XD keep it in the family. Get your 45 a kid brother.

I'm going to suggest the CZ P01

I'll second the CZ P-01 and add the very similar but railess 75D PCR. The full size 75B would also work if you don't mind the weight.

voted other for Beretta 92 FS INOX

Since you had one Beretta on the list, I thought I would offer opinion in favor of what I think is better.

I'm a huge fan of the FNS/FNP/FNX line - they're not 'pretty' as far as guns go but they're reliable, straight-shooting, affordable, and comfortable in the hand. Not nearly as big as people make them out to be - FNH makes great guns.

...but if you have a little more money to spend, and you want what is in my opinion (I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet) the best production 9mm money can buy, then go for a Hi-Power

Sorry for going off the list but I'm going with another vote for the CZ P-01. It has a great grip design, is accurate and reliable, and is well suited for the range and concealed carry.

It sounds like you want a polymer 9mm.

Might as well get the best - Walther P99AS!

I'm gonna say CZ as well. If you want plastic you've got the P-O1, if you want steel, you've got my preference the 75. Or a tanfoglio, also known as an eaa witness.

P01 isn't plastic, but alloy framed.

It is also NATO approved.

Czechpoint U.S.A is importing the 3" barrelled Alfa Proj 9mm revolver.

I don't know how many they imported for their first batch but they sold out almost immediately and are still on backorder now.
