My parents are coming to visit and meet their new grandson. Grandma has volunteered to babysit, so my wife and I will be going to the range this Saturday to shoot her new SKS and my new K-31. Might bring some pistols along as well. I'd love to meet any THR members who want to come by.

Time: Probably late morning, say 10-11ish
Place: Mid-Carolina Rifle Club, rifle range.
Look for: The tall thin guy with a high-and-tight shooting with a short extremely cute female.

Isn't anyone in the Midlands interested in shooting this weekend?

BTW, there's also a highpower rifle event at 9:00am Sunday. As I understand, MCRC does modify their event, since they've only got a 200m range. Plus they allow you to shoot just about anytyhing-SKS, deer rifle, Mosin, Mauser-not just US service rifles. Hopefully I'll be able to attend that as well.

Might be a while now for me...we get a new shipment of PVTs to train on Wednesday, which means I'm back to working Mon-Sat, 0530-1900ish for the next 10 weeks. And Mrs L. owns my butt on Sunday (not that it's a bad thing-and if we can find a babysitter for a few hours, she'll happily come along. :D)
