I've donated to the TSRA, NRA, NRA-ILA, NRA-PVF, etc. Would it be benificial to join or donate to other state NRA assoiciated organizations in key battleground states?

It is important to find out what the most effective organization in your state may be. Don't assume it is the state NRA affiliate. In my state it is a home grown group that is well connected in state government and uses those connections.

In my home state, the Texas State Rifle Association, seems to be an effective organization and viewed positively.
It seems like there is a strong push to rush passing gun control laws in other states right now. My thought is that helping some of those states could turn the tide in our favor. I am wondering if there are effective organizations worth donating to in those states or if I should just continue donating to the NRA on a national level.

TSRA is very effective. I can't imagine what good they could do if they had as many members as they should. Last time I saw figures, the membership was something like 30K, as nearly as I can recall.

Ironically, TSRA membership is not very high mainly IMO because most Texans feel very secure about their gun rights at the state level.

IMO, Grass Roots North Carolina is a very worthy org. Never thought about joining state level groups in OTHER states, but if you have the $$$ it sure couldn't hurt. At the very least, every gun owner needs to be in a good state level org in their home state.

In Illinois it's the ISRA. We need all the help we can get to keep the Chicago politicians in check. I think we have the numbers downstate but looking at what took place in New York worries me. Quinn is very anti 2A and can't be trusted right along with his pack of weasels.
