I have load data for 158 grain lead bullets and Red Dot powder in .38 special, however nothing is listed in my manual for 125 grain lead with the same powder. Do you guys have any suggestions on manuals which list this data? Thanks!

120gr Lead with Red Dot
4.6gr 1001fps
(+P) 5.0gr 1047fps
I wouldn't hesitate in using the same data for a 125gr bullet.
Data taken from Lyman Pistol & Revolver Handbook.

Bullet weights listed by Lyman are "as cast" and do not include the weight of the bullet lube in the grooves.
For all practical purposes, the 120 bullet is a 125 after size & lube.
Or casting it with a softer alloy then the Linotype listed & lubing it could make it a 130.

Found it!!!!!!!
Lyman 48th. edition
Well, close enough.
120 gr. slug
3.3 starting, 4.6 max.
And I don't shoot as cast slugs.
All it takes is a small piece of crud , or not closing the mold completely and you will have a larger than normal cast.

Great! Thanks everyone for the information. I think I'm going to be picking up a Lyman's handbook here, when I get a chance.

You might also look in the 47th Edition Lyman. It has some bullets / loads that aren't included in later editions. I chronographed a Lee 125 RNFP over 4.2 grns Red Dot going an average of 816 FPS out of a 2" barrel.
