While I enjoy this forum/website very much, I also frequented the 1911 org. forum room quite a bit. I haven't been able to access the 1911 forum room for some time now. Does anyone know what the story is with them?

Not having any luck with the link that you posted either. All I get is an error message that connection was refused. Any other ideas?

It's works for me now. I really like that sight, there's alot of good information over their on 1911's. They can tend to be a little too serious over their at times though....

You may need to reregister. They updated recently. I am still pondering the fact that the 1911 has a 21st Century following and its own board. AWESOME!!

There's another forum dedicated to 1911 pistols, Culver's Shooting Page. If you've taken a look there recently you'll see what happens when the trolls are allowed to run amok.

I really like the 1911forum, its a great place to do research on 1911, and even browning hipower. All the dedicated hi power forums Ive checked otu are either dead or not very interesting, while 1911forum is full of information on both guns.

Failure to feed.
Don't worry, they have 1911tuner looking into it.
Well you know I wasn't the only person thinking that. ;)

It has nothing to do with signing in if you are unable to even get to the site. Similar thing happened to me with 24hourcampfire a couple of weeks ago. I was asking people what happened to the site, and everyone was telling me they had not problem getting there. After a few days, it just cleared up. Give it a couple of days.

I have had very slow responsiveness to several gun forum sites. The 1911 site also does not show up for me, sometimes. Thehighroad has been very slow a lot lately. I've wondered if there was an attack on some of these gun related sites, lately. I have DSL and other web sites load just fine.
Sigforum, berettaforum has been slow, too.
