Anyone have a new one? Is it reliable enough to carry?

Don't have a new one, but my wife has an older one. The only thing I don't like about it is that although it is o.k. for close range, the accuracy is lacking for head shots beyond 10 yards, or torso shots beyond 25. I have other "pocket guns" and other .380's that will do head shots at 20-25 yards. The Mustang is fine on reliablility in our experience, though, and for a close quarters, or across the bedroom gun, it is fine. You CAN hide it about anywhere on your body, too, and the 1911 type controls make it sweet for a 1911 shooter. The similar SIG pistol even has a reputation for better accuracy than our gun, so maybe the new Colt's will be better than the old.

The new production one is reported to be much better than the old ones, I intend to pick one up eventually. They really need dovetailed front and rear sights though, the Sig P238 which is very similar has much better sights and Colt should offer the same.
Also, bring back the .380 Government Model!
