The guy I bought this from said a hull got stuck in the chamber and from the looks of it, they used a screwdriver to pry it out. I took two small needle files and worked the damage out, then dressed it with a dremel and Scotch Brite tip. I used aluminum black on it. I will have the whole shotgun coated with Cerakote later this spring.

Critiques welcomed and encouraged.

Well done. Whoever boogered up that gun should have their man card revoked.

Looks good.

Were you able to get a good price because of the boogering?

I think so, $450 was his asking, but after seeing the damage, I offered him $400. It is the perfect shotgun for daughter's first. She or I didn't have to worry about any damage caused by use. 24" barrel and I cut the stock to 12 1/2"

Nice job! My 3901 runs without a hitch. It is a good choice for your Daughter :)
