I don't currently reload, but plan to eventually, and a buddy does who will let me use his equipment whenever I want. .454 is one caliber that I certainly will want to reload whenever I do start.

The dies new.at Midway are 49.99 plus shipping. The brass is a nice kicker but how many loads on it? Were they plinking or full house, once fired? Offer the guy 60 to 70 bucks if you don't have to burn much gas to pick up. Beyond 75 bucks take a pass and buy new dies you will be sure about. If you already own the pistol, you have some brass. I load a lot for this cartridge. It is a favorite but there are some nuances. When you get up and running post up and will share what info I have.
