A local dealer listed one of these in his catalog yesterday. It is a 6" chrome-brushed Desert Eagle in 440 Corbon Magnum for $1199. Supposedly, it is the last one. I thought that this caliber was discontinued and being the last one, I suppose it is. The distributor also lists all factory loaded ammunition from $20-25 per box of 20 which seems reasonable. Do you think I should snatch this up or let it pass? How does the 440 compare to other "super magnums" like the 50 AE, 475 Wildey, 475 Linebaugh, 454 Casull, 480 Ruger.....?
