I recently joined the "Cast Bullet Association" as I've discovered the great hobby of casting my own bullets for long range "Buffalo Shoots" and Cowboy Action Shooting.

The CBA offers a fantastic book, 496 pages, mostly prepared by members, on absolutely everything you'd ever want to know and more about bullet casting.

Other than being a member, I have no affiliation with the organization. I just thought I'd pass on a fantastic resource.

For anyone on a budget, the LA Silhouette Club published a free e-book. Available at this link (http://www.lasc.us/Fryxell_Book_textonly2.pdf)

Castboolits.com is a good resource also. They have a search bar like most sites.

SSN Vet, thanks for the link! I have a few books and am a member of Cast boolits.com but, more info is always better in my opinion.

Since only have two dozen or so bullet casting books from 1800's to present including some very rare ones from the 1920's through late '30's then from early '50's to late '70's when the preponderance of information had already been compiled by somebody for print, I don't have very many "modern" printed casting resources other than the occasional repackage "new" additions Lyman does. Isn't it strange nobody took the time to write cast bullet books during WW-2?

Seems right thing to do is support someone that went to the trouble and put something in print. Wife gets annoyed if I am whacking computer keys when we sit together reading in the evening. Even if most information I have seen before, hate to chance missing out on that lost gem I have missed. Have to remember and get wife to drop a check in mail unless I can do online using a card. Been so long since I actually saw one my, ours or company check books not sure even know how to operate it. My accountants took all company check books away because sloppy handwriting and tendency to not record all aspects of transaction. They gave me credit cards and set up separate P.O. Box for all bills to go. They pick up and write checks on Monday's and Thursday's. Best idea a bean counter ever came up with for me except for the firearms trust that buys and owns all my guns "of record". Sometimes those cash buys forget to be submitted to them. Darn, I can't even do that right. Haha.
