rcmodel February 1, 2013, 05:10 PM Any gun shops near you? They should have the proper screws. Otherwise you can order them from Mdway & Brownell's. You probably got 6-48 and you probably need 8-40. http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/small-hardware/metal-screws/socket-head-scope-ring-base-screw-kit-prod622.aspx?ttver=2 rc Teachu2 February 1, 2013, 09:12 PM Unless you mean too short... MrCleanOK February 1, 2013, 11:43 PM If the screws that came with the weaver base are too small (diameter) for the tapped holes in your rifle, there is a pretty good chance you'll need to enlarge the thru holes in the base. It's not hard to do with the right tools, but it's something to be aware of. Thorton Flattop February 3, 2013, 04:44 PM I bought them from midway..... Reloadron February 3, 2013, 08:39 PM The correct size for your rifle should be an 8-40 screw pitch and if you have a weaver base you want weaver oval heads on the screws not fillister heads. Either slotted heads or socket heads drive with an appropriate length. Not sure about the length for your base. Ron PaperPlateTargets February 4, 2013, 11:50 AM Call Weaver customer service, There pretty good at sending out replacement hardware.
