The ones I've handled were as hard as a rock. Never saw a holster that tough, unlined, would've taken awhile to break in. Maybe they are better now.

I like them. I have several. One is a yaqi style I use for several of my small autos. Another is an easy on-easy off belt slide holster for my glocks. It is technically for my 26, but works just fine for my 19 and 17 since it only covers the trigger area, and is open bottom. The last one, that I keep in the truck with my 26, is a simple clip IWB holster. They are not custom molded kydex like my Raven Concealment holsters, nor works of finely crafted exotic leathers, but they are cheap, available almost everywhere, and quite functional.

I have two of them, both for a PF9, and both left-handed. One is a belt-slide OWB holster with no retention feature. It's my EDC holster, on me pretty much any time I'm up and not at work (including right now as I type this.)
The other is an IWB rig with a steel belt clip and a "sweat shield" strip. Like the other, there is no retention feature, such as a strap or thumb-break. I don't wear it IWB; I wear it between the belt and pants, as I find true IWB-carry uncomfortable.

Both work well, but they are indeed stiff and that causes them to be creaky. I've been wearing the OWB one for about a year now, and it still isn't "broken in" that I can tell. Even though both are made for the PF9, the IWB one seats the gun lower in the rig, making it a little harder to get good purchase on the gun for draw. My Bersa Thunder 380 actually fits in that one better.
