Anybody ever had or seen one of these?
So, it is a rebadged Model 94 Winchester, for Sears.
Are they the exact same quality as a winchester, or just a cheaper Model 94?
Any opinions will be helpful. Local dealer has one in excellent shape for $350, is this reasonable?

Thanks. Jim

My nephew owns one, used to belong to my FIL. I have shot a few deer with it, if there are any differences between it and the Model 94 I didn't notice them. Maybe a different grade of wood?

I would pay $350 if the gun is in good shape. The shops around here want more than that for a beat up one. If you are not hung up on having the Winchester name on the barrel then I would say go for it.

The Thirtieth Edition of the Bluebook of Gun Values I own says the store brand values are generally lower than that of the major factory models from which they derived. There is a store brand cross-reference list that gives the Sears model # and corresponding Winchester model # so you can then find the value. You can probably find one of these books in the library or at a local book store. Or if you want, you can send me a PM and I'll see if I can't find it in my book. I imagine this is a post 1964 rifle and the value is not going to be much. I don't know how much if any the Ted Williams badge will help. I could not find any Ted Williams models under the Winchester section, so you would need to cross reference the model numbers.

I have one. Was around $200, tax and transfer included, back in 2005. They're drilled for Williams side-mount peep sights and have a front sight blade that's tall enough to go with the Williams without the need for replacement. I like that they have a forend cap instead of a barrel band too.

They're post '64 Winchesters with different furniture. Perfectly functional rifles! I like mine and wouldn't take less than 300 for it now.

In function they are every bit as good as the Winny 94 of that era. They make dandy brush guns, especially for the price and are a real pleasure to carry all day in the field.

I love mine, just as good as any of my other 94's
