How hard would it be to make a forum that would have state specific subset to it. I know we can find links to all senators. But when it comes to state and more so local elections it may be less likely to know about all of them. If we had a place to go state specific anyone could see who they need to vote for or against. Anything placed in there would have to have links or copies of letters to support opinion of that candidate.

That's actually an interesting idea. We'd probably throw out a different service (like a gun rights political wiki) to cover it rather than trying to make it fit into the forum paradigm.

Activism can meet that purpose. We have threads on individual legislation and threads on individual legislators. You could open a thread just on your state and anyone could add to it.
