Very nice! I makes me wish my 6" model 29 was a 4".

Mighty pretty! I'd like to find a four- or five-inch model 29 myself.

Love those 4-inchers

Are those grips shorter than standard?

so im shooting my 29-2 8 3/8" today complaining about the powder burns on my face...

then im thinking... well at least my fingers aren't burnt... they're just numb... :uhoh:

but a 4 inch... that's just not right... :p

grips are actually over sized as they extend below the frame. Must be the camera angle.

MEC, why don' you sell me that thing. I have a 6" and an 8 3/8", both pre-dash models. Me needs me a 4"er again. Sold a couple of them off in the '70s.

I'll share a pic, too, of my 1974 Mod. 29 lying in my reloading room after some shooting and cleaning. Yes, I loaded it for the picture!

I have the same thing but with Rubber Grips.

The M29-2 was a worthy upgrade of the Basic M29.
