About 6.0 Grs of Unique should do you well. It will baby that gun and still feel like something. Bump it up a little if it isn't enough for you.
(i beleive its 5 ''Measure from the face of the cylinder to the end of the barrel.

No, not a bullseye shooter.
We have plenty here though. Hopefully they will come along and help out.

I'll second the 6g of unique, great load. Gives me 1100 fps with 158g LRNFP out of my 6" bbl model 66

Try 5.0 Bullseye in .357 cases.
It will be about like a .38 Spl load.

2 questions
walkalong , will cci 500 primers be ok or do i need magnum primers with that load
rc \
i found some old load data from 2010 i had written down for a bullseye load, i however did not document the source (lesson learned)
i showed a start load of 5.9 and max load of 6.5 , 1.580 coal and cci 500 primers, i have some i loaded at 6.2 grains and coal 1.602
should i pull these bullets or is that load data good,
thank you

Neither Bullseye or Unique need mag primers.
