I just got an email regarding this pistol this morning and wanted to know if anyone else has had experience with this gun? It has 7+1 capacity in 9mm, and a da/sa trigger. I have been looking into a pocket pistol before summer comes and this looked interesting, especially for being under $300.

Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Carried and qualified with one as my backup for over a year. At least 300 rounds and one FTE. Shot AE 124 gr., Lawman 124 gr., and carried Gold Dot 124 gr. Great little gun.....wish I did not trade it. A little snappy, but that should be expected in this class of firearm. When you get it, check the mag springs to make sure they are not upside down. One of mine was upside down and lowered the capacity by 1.

Taurus is underrated by many people. Also had a Gen 1 24/7 in 9mm that ran great.

I have one in stainless that I picked up used for $250 off gunbroker. Great little pistol for the price.

Had a few FTE's with 115 grain (below the recommended loading of 124 I believe).

I sent it back to taurus, and they replaced the slide, no questions asked, with their lifetime warranty and had it back to me in a week.

I haven't shot many pistols of it's size, "snappy" I guess, but a pleasure to shoot. I added a hogue jr grip wrap and it helps shootability for me.

I wouldn't call it a "pocket" pistol, but I guess if your pockets are extra large it could be done.

Plenty of info over at www.taurusarmed.net.
go to the 700's section.

The trigger is SA/DA, not DA/SA. FYI.

That is the only thing I do not like about it.

I got one about a month age and love it. No problem as a ccw.
