gfanikf February 6, 2013, 05:08 PM So by dumb luck today I was looking around on Grabaguns website and...well I have no clue how...I found a Glock 20 Gen 4 in stock with one left. Since I recently sold a gun and got paid right away I did only natural thing we would all do... I bought it for $563 shipped and $593 with my ffl fees. They seem to be ranging on Gunbroker from $665 to $816 before shipping or transfer costs. Only odd thing is its listed as 10+1 and the three mags are 10 rounders. Eh no biggie for me as I can get 15 rounders or some goofy extendo mag later.
Incidentally I wanted a Glock 21SF or Gen 4, but I knew it could be months before that happens and I can always get a G21 slide, plus I have a bunch of 40S&W brass laying around so I can always shoot cheap with a lone wolf barrel (since 40 S&W seems to be in minimal demand at the moment). 10mm Auto also just seems like a really need cartridge to try...so I didn't mind getting a G20 vs G21. Not to mention finding Gen 4s is like finding Bigfoot at the moment.
So I did good, right?

Sock Puppet February 6, 2013, 06:38 PM Ya did good.
R. Walter February 6, 2013, 06:55 PM I saw the same gun in 2 different gun stores in Albuquerque last week, 1 for $569 plus tax and the other for $579 plus tax. Both brand new in the box, etc.
David E February 6, 2013, 06:59 PM I don't think extended base pads will do much on 10 rd mags.
plateshooter February 7, 2013, 07:29 AM You did well. The G20 is so versatile with aftermarket barrels it is a bargain at the price you got it for. 40 S&W brass is almost free compared to some others, and that gun is an accurate soft shooter when used with the 40 S&W.

Enachos February 7, 2013, 12:49 PM I got lucky and paid $550 out the door for my G29SF about a week before prices sky-rocketed! It has easily became my favorite pistol!
Sam Cade February 7, 2013, 12:57 PM $589.99 here NIB with two 15 round magazines.
Same here as of about an hour ago, 3 magazines.
GLOOB February 7, 2013, 01:01 PM I've been looking around for a G20SF, and if you don't have any locally, that's not a bad price, at all, for a Gen4. Congrats.
The only problem is Glock mags are priced like gold, right now. I believe I saw a Glock 17 mag on Cheaper than dirt for $140? lol. And a 33 rounder for $170. Now that's a hoot.
