Hello everyone. I carry a p220 compact. For a back up I carry a spare mag. Does anybody know of the full size 8 round mag work for the compact? I haven't been Able to make it there pro shop lately.

This is my first post, but yes the 8 round 220 magazine will work in the compact. You just have to deal with the 1" or so protruding from the compacts grip. I carry the 8 rounder as a spare magazine.

Somebody snatched up all the 220 mags, good luck finding any. Kinda stupid since the proposed mag cap laws are all at 10 and the 220 holds 8 standard.
