Nylon belt for concealed carry?

I've been getting by with the best cheap belt I could find.

I'm ready to upgrade. I like some of the leather belts I see and definitely recognize their quality.

But, I really like the infinite adjust-ability of these rigger style belts.

Would something like this 5.11 Operator belt work for concealed carry? These are pretty stiff and have an insert for rigidity.

What's your opinion/experience?

Breaking contact,
5.11 offers different stiffness belts. I carry lightweight stuff, and really like there lightest belt.Cant remember what its called.Plastic buckle,1 layer of nylon. It can slip a little over time.I would use a stiffer one for heavier weapons. Full size require 1.75 wide and the velcro keeper,in my opinion. I really like leather, but my weight fluctuates with the weather/work, and these belts mean i dont have to keep poking new holes .

Maybe it'll work for your purposes. I find these type belts slip, somewhat, throughout a normal day's wear. I use an inexpensive nylon tool belt that is reinforced with manmade leather. Has the stiffness to support the holster/weight of the gun, the durability of nylon and was less than $15.00.

I've used a Patagonia Tech Web belt for going on five years now with no complaints. Works and has added tree-hugging "camouflage"

Wilderness 5-stitch Instructor's belt.

I still prefer a good leather belt, however.

I have the 1.5" Wilderness Instructor belt. It works great for day-to-day wear, but I ordered it before I had my IWB holster and I'd like a couple inches more overlap.

I used to conceal carry on a nylon Rigger's belt. Not a 5.11 because they are "tactical" teeny boppers. It was not the most comfortable way to carry since nylon doesn't stretch or conform well for comfort when needed compared to leather.

Gould & Goodrich makes a belt called the security pro that has a removable buckle. Can pick it up in most places for 10 to 15 bucks.

Same here ... other than for dress, it's the only belt I wear.

I've been running one of these (http://endeavorstitchworks.com/1-5-inch-wide-cobra-gun-belt/) for about a year and have been very happy with it. Not sure if Kerry is back to taking orders at this time though. The Ares Ranger is also an excellent belt but is more expensive. Both are infinitely adjustable but unlike the Wilderness belts there is no chance of slippage because the end of the belt has hook and loop on it after it loops through the cobra buckle.

I use 5.11 Double Duty belts in both widths depending on what I am carrying. The double thickness belts don't let the holster sag. The belts are reversible too.
