TwoWheelFiend February 11, 2013, 07:25 AM GREAT episode. Should be required watching for all politicians. :) dickz February 11, 2013, 07:53 AM I think I like Penn And Teller alot more now. As a matter of fact, they do a better job of presenting the argument for gun rights than the NRA. IMO baz February 11, 2013, 08:06 AM As a matter of fact, they do a better job of presenting the argument for gun rights than the NRA.Not if they have to be vulgar to do it. autospike February 11, 2013, 08:19 AM Not if they have to be vulgar to do it. They don't have to be... They just are. Doesn't bother me but I know it does some. Penn is a huge libertarian (literally). If you want to hear more from him,he's got a pretty entertaining podcast and speaks his mind about Obama and the rest of the government. Fair warning: The language isn't any cleaner and he's an outspoken atheist. jamesbeat February 11, 2013, 09:44 AM I love that episode, and the show in general. Carne Frio February 11, 2013, 10:44 AM Crude language can sometimes be the best way to communicate. And he certainly does do that ! Akita1 February 11, 2013, 10:54 AM They've been on our side as far back as I can remember - yes vulgar but sometimes it's needed to make a point (I know, not always, but sometimes…) BBQJOE February 11, 2013, 11:14 AM You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. Perfect! psyopspec February 11, 2013, 11:16 AM Not if they have to be vulgar to do it. You should check out their episode on vulgarity. Vector February 11, 2013, 11:16 AM Funny yet true. radiotom February 11, 2013, 11:19 AM You should check out their episode on vulgarity. lol watching it right now. InkEd February 11, 2013, 11:41 AM I like that show. I have all but the last season on DVD. Delawarean February 11, 2013, 11:44 AM I love Penn and Teller. I don't thing I disagree with Penn at all. Airbrush Artist February 11, 2013, 12:20 PM Im sure That if a Murdering Rapist was coming down My Hallway and Looking to Kill Me and rape and Murder My wife My words would be Refined and eloquent Like,"Dear Sir Please refrain from inflicting any harsh treatment on Myself and My beatiful wife, I plead That You have mercy upon us and Our Home and please leave and shut the door as You Do ,Thank You"--Not-- It would be Like 'I HAVE A GUN M&^*^^$&%&$ and If YOU keep coming down MY M*&&^%^^*^* Hallway It will Be the Last&^%$$ hallway Your Punk !&* will ever Walk down..Just sounds more sincere that way... Jolly Rogers February 11, 2013, 07:30 PM I truly like the way you used random capital letters for emphasis. :banghead: Joe TwoWheelFiend February 11, 2013, 08:10 PM You should check out their episode on vulgarity. beat me to it, lol. pacerdude February 11, 2013, 11:08 PM That was a great episode and showed the fallacies of restricting gun rights. mrvco February 12, 2013, 02:05 PM Awesome and still pretty dang relevant... I had to go back and check the air date. And yes, we live in a vulgar world. r1derbike February 12, 2013, 02:47 PM Yes, we live in a vulgar world, but their message would reach more people if they left-out the expletives. I'm no proper gentlemen around friends, but if producing a segment to be aired, even if only on the 'net, I'd tone-it-down. Call it hypocritical if you want, I call it maximizing target demographics for your message. readyeddy February 12, 2013, 03:46 PM Good episode. Very informative. The language didn't bother me, and it wouldn't have bothered anyone I know. TennJed February 12, 2013, 04:31 PM Yes, we live in a vulgar world, but their message would reach more people if they left-out the expletives. I'm no proper gentlemen around friends, but if producing a segment to be aired, even if only on the 'net, I'd tone-it-down. Call it hypocritical if you want, I call it maximizing target demographics for your message. Actually one could agrue that the vulgarity does appeal more to their target audience. I see Penn and Teller as a counter to people like Bill Mahr. The sacrcastic one liners is what so many of the under 35 crowd look up to for "news information" Penn and Teller fits in well with Bill Marh and Jon Stewart and honestly I cannot think of anyone other pro gun people fit that bill
