Any reason not to get a EAA Biathlon Basic?

I've pretty much decided that his is going to be my next gun purchase and I'm looking for the best bang for the buck in a very accurate 22 rifle that's scope-ready and this really seams to fit the bill.
I had a 10/22 and I don't really want to go down that road again. To make it the gun I want would be a $700-800 proposition for me.
I can get the Biathlon Basic from my local shop for $255 which I feel is a fair price.

I have one I like it alot,
Its handy weatherproof (tested in Biathalon conditions), reliable, comes with a trigger that needs no work, is already completely freefloated, very accurate even with the cheap walmart federal copper plated ammo, It uses a hammer rather than a striker, to fire. I have shot .20 5 shot groups with mine at 50 yards. They like high velocity ammo, though not target ammo, mine at least,
IIRC I paid $209 for mine about a year and a half ago. The magazines are pricey, the best deal is to get the mags from EAA by calling customer service, IIRC $45 for 2 or $25 each.
The only disadvantage is the location of the scope mount, it should be farther forward, but you can fix that with the right rings (weaver EER rings).
Buy it you will love it.

-For any gun that EAA sells, check with as many other places as you want, but CALL FIRST to confirm that they have any in stock before bothering with mailing anything. And then contact EAA.
----When I went searching for IZH35M magazines, EAA listed them as $40 each (fairly scary) and a number of other places online listed them for lower prices--but of the three other places I tried, nobody else had any in stock, or any estimate of when they would get any in. One place's website page even said they had them in stock when they had not had any in several months, and I left my order standing there for a month and still none showed up. And it turned out that (for those magazines) EAA sells 2 or more for $25 each, which isn't nearly as bad as $40 each.
----------------
Also, possibly an interesting note: in a few months this rifle is supposed to be available in 22WMR and 17HMR, as well as a 22LR peep sight version using the same sights as the junior-sized target rifle. May 2004 if I recall right....

Where exactly do you buy Weaver EER rings. I did a couple searches and I can't seem to locate anything.
