Can I get some info on full length sizing with a FL sizing die VS a body die and neck die.
Thanks Much!

MtnCreek,
I have been using the Redding Competition Die Sets for many years. At first I would just neck size and only body size when the shoulder needed bumping back. Then, I decided for consistency purposes to always do both operations (essentially FL resizing in 2 distinct operations). Personally, I like the control it gives me by doing things separately. In particular, partial neck sizing for match boltguns.

Redding body die/competition shellholders, combined with a Lee collet die is the combo that has made the straightest cases for me. I like to keep them consistent and set the shoulders back .001-.002.
To get cases as straight using Redding bushing dies, I had to size the necks down in two steps. I also started seeing donuts forming. The Lee collet die saves me time and trouble and produces very consistent brass.
