What $700 is too much? Wait till you add in that $170 shellplate !!!!!

My recommendation would be to place a backorder with one of the retailers.

Want it now? pay the market price.....or as above, place your backorder and wait
There is an extreme shortage of anything gun/ammo/reloading related and there will be for quite some time

I bought mine from manventureoutpost about 2 years ago. I just looked and this is what it now says for this press - "Next Shipment ETA: 11/1/2013". At least it's "only" $405!

If you don't want to pay a premium, I also suggest you order now and just figure it will be Sept. or so before you get. Hornady, like everyone, is swamped with orders and it will just take time for supply to catch up with demand. At least you have one so you can load while you wait.

Not to be discouraging, in 2009 during the last panic, I had to wait 6 months to get my Hornady progressive.

It was well worth the wait.

Put one on back order or just wait until the dust settles. I would not pay scalpers prices.
