SR1911 Commander Mag's

I just picked up the new SR 1911 Commander style and was shopping for mags. I ran across a Wilson Combat and picked it up. It would not fit. The magazine would not lock in even with the base plate removed. It also would not lock the slide back. I ended up taking the pistol to the LGS and trying some mags. I ended up with a Kimber mag that worked, but they also had one type that would not. Any ideas?

Frame mag release hole, or the mag release button itself is out of spec.

No way you are going to find that many 1911 mags that won't fit a 1911.

See if you can find another 1911 at the LGS or a friend that will let you swap out the mag release buttons and and see what happens.

That was pretty much the reply I received from Wilson as well. I will take a look at it, and see if that is the problem.
