MAKING HAND GUNS DISSAPEAR!!! Hello, I just recieved my second Milt-Sparks holster today. This time it was for my S&W 642. I ordered it from lightning arms monday, and it showed up today via USPS. It is a black PCH-R1 that is made specifically for a J-frame. Untill now, I've tried the Uncle Mike's and Galco pocket holsters and really didn't seem 100% pleased with either. In my quest to find the right holster for me, I looked at Milts-Sparks aqain to see what they had to offer and what would set it apart from the other two. I must say that the quality is first rate. The holster is all leather with a metal band sewn into the border that allows it to be custom molded to the contours of my skinny-ass thighs. That was one of the two biggest problems I had with the Galco piece. It sat flat on my leg and looked like a hard pancake was in my from pocket. The other problem what that it was noisy. I really creaked bad everytime I walked with it. For that price, the Uncle Mike's holster is a pretty good holster to start out with. My problem with it was that it flared out at the bottom with the pistol in it. This caused a signifigant squared off print at the bottom of my pocket. I don't wear pleated anything, so you can understand my need to find the holster that was right for me. The Milt-Sparks holster is unmolded on the front and molded to the pistol on the rear of the holster to prohibit printing on the pant leg and decrease the perceived size of the bulge in my pocket. It was really tight when it came in. It took a couple of hours to get it broken in enough to allow me to draw the pistol out of my pocket without pulling the holster with it. It will still take a little more work to get it just right though. Here are some pics for comparison.

Enjoy, Robert.

Wow, I really like that. Ive been using a uncle mikes, and the bottom is curling up, causing the gun to shift in my pocket. How much did the milt sparks run you if you dont mind me asking?

Could you kindly post a pic with it in your pocket?

I may be in the market for something like that.

Any chance you can take some comparison pics as Skunk mentioned with each gun/holster combo in your pocket? I am in the market for a new pocket holster having tried the Nemesis (good but profiles gun) and Kramer (better but bulky) and think the Sparks may just fit my bill. Thanks.

I was put on to Milt Sparks Versa-Max2 for my Kimber Ultra Carry II that was about two Months ago. I just today added another VM2 to my first order for my new Kimber Tac Pro. II I know I could get them quicker from a MS dealer but I just like the idea of having them look at my order and make my holsters. Just my way of wanting to have it done even if it means waiting over 12 weeks.
