Hey Folks,
I loaded up a couple hundred rounds today and noticed a few rounds with set back.
After checking all two hundred I was able to push 24 of the bullets into the case by pushing the micrometer.
After taking a few apart, the bullets were measuring as low as .0395.
I gather this is the problem - what is the minimum a 40 cal. should measure?
These are 180gr Cam-pro. I have loaded 1000's and never had an issue until now.
Should I measure each round at the case mouth or take all of them apart and not chance it?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you,

.40 S&W jacketed bullets should measure .400", no more, no less.
.40 S&W plated & lead bullets should measure .401", no more, no less.

If you got .395" bullets, you got some bad bullets.

Sorry - I did mean to write .395
Bummer - not looking forward to taking all these apart.

Better to take them apart than to have them blow your gun apart.
