Anyone here formed 6.5 creedmoor from .308 brass? Creedmoor brass seems to be readily available, but sometimes I just like being difficult I guess…..that and I’ve got a ton of .308 brass.
If anyone’s tried it, I’d be grateful for your thoughts on it and any suggestions.
Thanks!

I'd love to see this generalized to, oh, I dunno, .260 Remington brass as well. :D

I have done it with .308 to .260 before. Just full length sized then fire formed at a starting load, then neck size and trim.

You'd need to neck turn it.

I assume separate body die and neck die are not going to be able to handle this, correct?
Thanks.

I would think that is a tricky one seeing as the Creedmore is based on the 30TC and not the 308, shorter brass, sharper shoulder, there is a bit more to that one then just necking it down, and you would have to fire form the shoulder out.
