a local gun show today. Well, ok, it wasn`t actually Eric Schneiderman but a 20- something guy in a dark pinstripe suit. I got here about 45 minutes after the show opened.
I noticed the "SUIT" standing with his back to the wall and directly across the table where you pay the entry fee. At first I thought he might have been a politician or someone who was supposed to be out circulating, doing the meet & greet, but this guy seemed to have been glued to the wall.
Decided politicians can`t afford to be wallflowers, so I asked and was told the "SUIT" was from the A.G`s office.
Actually the guy looked like HE felt intimidated being surrounded by "bitter clingers", instead of intimidating US like Schneiderman intended him to. Seems like the vendors did a fair business and it seems no one paid any attention at all to Schneiderman`s Wallflower.
I almost felt sorry for the guy`s obvious discomfort but decided if he`s going to abet NY State`s blatant attempt to infringe our Second Amendment rights, he deserved no sympathy!
N.Y. used to be called"the Empire State" but I think we should replace the E with Va..in front of the ..mpire.

No, it is the Empire State.

As in Roman Empire (last days), complete with people interested in bread and cirucuses, people with no moral compass, a corrupt Legislative body and an Emperor; Emperor Cuomo.

Maybe the Visigoths from upstate provinces will invade the Capital, hmm?

Our funshows are fairly heavily monitored.... Small state and all that. I'm not really seeing this one as a big deal. Been nice if someone would have taken the guy around and introduced him, might have been a chance to convert a fence sitter.

That guy over in the corner paying the fiddle wouldn't happen to be named "Nero" would he ? ? ?

No foghornl, going by what folks were calling him I think his name might have been either Doofus or Fudd.

I would probably have said, "Et tu, Brute"?

Second thought, he might not have thought it humorous, if a learned man.

Someone should have taken pictures, video, or even better, interviewed him so you could get his name and ID number. Then posted it on line.

Intimidation can work both ways.

Good idea, Nuclear ! Never thought to bring a camera or a tape recorder or the like. Funshows here were up til now, friendly events , nobody takin names & keepin score!.I guess not so much anymore, thanks to His Pomposity, Andrew the Imperious of Bedlam on the Hudson.
Suspect attempt to interview would have been seen as "hostile" or even interference by Mr ?izname of the AG`s office.
But the topic of how, when, where and whom to interview seems worthy of discussion. Most likely in its own thread. .

Isn't this supposed to be titled, "The Empire State Strikes Back." Seems I heard that somewhere.

I think you`re right about the cameras. In this area funshows are hosted by local civic organizations like fire departments, the American Legion, Knights of Columbus etc. They depend on revenues raised by entry fees, sales of food ,coffee, soda ,raffle tickets and renting space to vendors( at very reasonable rates.) Neither the hosts nor the vendors nor the patrons benefit from negative publicity.

I'm in the free state of florida.
At our gun shows there are always LEO types. Uniformed and civilian dress.
Local, State and the wonderful boys and girls of the ATF.

Who cares.

If Cuomo is Emperor, Bloomberg must be master of the horse

hoofan ..Bloomberg must be master of the horse

Think you forgot to add feathers as in Bloomberg must be master of the horsefeathers .

Personally, I`d like to deport Bloomberg to Cuba, where I`m sure he would be much happier! Ditto for Cuomo,Schumer, Gilligirl!
