HighExpert February 23, 2013, 11:57 PM You will be very happy. The press has a few idosyncracies but is very reliable and Dillon can't be beat for service. Hondo 60 February 24, 2013, 12:05 AM I had 3 cheaper presses & sold 2 of em. (still have a red single stage.) I absolutely love my 550. I hope you feel the same after you've had a chance to play with it. bobinoregon February 24, 2013, 12:29 AM I have two, kool aid is good for you Hartebreak February 24, 2013, 01:05 AM mine has been on order since 1/20. Im starting to go nuts every day when I get home and there isnt anything on the porch. rikman February 24, 2013, 01:07 AM Congrats! I have 2 550B's :-) Eb1 February 24, 2013, 01:15 AM In have another thread on my decision making and debate. But in the end the 550B just made the most since "for me". I could have gotten any press in that class for the money I spent, but manual progressive is what I wanted. I was thinking Pro2000, LNL AP, Lee Classic Turret, Redding T7, and a 650 as well. The RL550B had more pros than cons for the way I reload and want to accomplish than cons. Any of them would have served well though. GT1 February 24, 2013, 01:30 AM I don't think you'll be sorry, there are a boatload of 550's out there in use for a reason. Good luck with it. :)
