With a few cases ready for SCOTUS what if a weak one is chosen?

With a few 2nd Amendment cases that could be chosen by SCOTUS some are stronger than then others.


Apparently the weak Peterson v. Denver in the 10th circuit was a weak one and not a good case.



What's the chance of SCOTUS choosing a weak case to rule on versus a stronger case?
