I've got a Redding Competition seating die for 223 Rem. Going to upgrade the barrel to a 223 AI. Can I still use the same seating die? I don't think this die cares that the shoulders are different.

Yes but you cant crimp. You can also use the standard 223 Lee Collet die to neck size only. Buy a 223AI body die and you are set. You will not have to use the body die for probably 8-10 loads. Neck sizing alone takes care of it. May never have to trim again either.

Excellent info as I already have the 223 Lee Collet Neck die. So all I really need is the body die. This may be a cheaper experiment than I thought.
