Looking to add as bayonet lug to AR. Do I need one? NO. Do I want one? YES. Looking on line but the terminology and pics confuse me.

I just want to add one behind the flash suppressor.

Any guidance will be appreciated

Thanks

16" carbine or 20" rifle.

If a rifle, you can replace the sight gas block with one that has a bayonet lug on it.

If a carbine, somebody makes a clamp-on bayonet lug you can attach to the barrel.

Depends on the barrel length, the handgaurd length etc....
usually the lug is part of the gasblock, BUT where the block is and if it's in the right place.....
