I am looking for an online manual for a Winchester Model 290 22 rifle. I can't find one. Would anyone have one they could scan for me? Or perhaps I am looking the wrong way (google).

Thanks.

Here is a link for an online PDF file for the Winchester 190. The 290 is the same rifle but with fancier wood/finish

Thank you. I saw that manual, but I didn't realize it was same as 290. The 290 is an auto loader. The 190 looked like a lever action.

The Model 150 is a lever gun. The 190 and 290 are the same (semi auto) there were quite a few variations made with the exact same receiver and barrel. Usually the 100 series were plain jane and the 200 series had fancier stocks.

The 270 was a pump action.

Here is a You-Tube video that I just used to replace a broken recoil plate in my Winchester 190.... sure made it easier to know how it all came apart ...

Ordered the recoil plate from Numrich Arms... they have a parts list also...
