Thank you. I saw that manual, but I didn't realize it was same as 290. The 290 is an auto loader. The 190 looked like a lever action.

The Model 150 is a lever gun. The 190 and 290 are the same (semi auto) there were quite a few variations made with the exact same receiver and barrel. Usually the 100 series were plain jane and the 200 series had fancier stocks.

Here is a You-Tube video that I just used to replace a broken recoil plate in my Winchester 190.... sure made it easier to know how it all came apart ...
Ordered the recoil plate from Numrich Arms... they have a parts list also...
