NeuseRvrRat February 27, 2013, 09:30 PM the answer is 42 Mccarty February 27, 2013, 09:35 PM Check back tomorrow. Repeat. MarshallDodge February 27, 2013, 09:42 PM I would keep checking your usual places. Things have not been the same since 2008 and while they get better at times, you probably won't see things get back to normal for at least a year. The good thing is that powder seems to be easier to come by than primers and bullets. oneounceload February 27, 2013, 09:51 PM 4 and 8# jugs are currently available, depending on which powder. You need to check many of the more popular sites to see who has it at any given moment in time. One of my suppliers has many versions in 8# jugs currently available. But with folks really going overboard and buying 100 times what they normally would buy, the shortage will continue until they max out their credit cards docsleepy February 27, 2013, 09:53 PM also try small gunshops in nearby cities. I've found a couple that have things when the online places don't. A friend found VARGET at a gunshow at a very attractive price!!! Both ordered from powder valley late January. They also had pretty much all the good primers, cci, Winchester and some federals this morning. Like them on Facebook they give updates there. Zardaia February 27, 2013, 10:40 PM Available with enough searching may happen soon or already, but readily as in normal? 6-12 months. Remember a state of the industry thing posted here recently that said components are going to ammo ATM rather than reloaders. five.five-six February 27, 2013, 11:57 PM the answer is 42Check back tomorrow in 7½ million years. He he he... Truthfully, components are readably available... I just don't like paying $70/K for primers or 60/# for powder. Art Eatman February 27, 2013, 11:58 PM Primers seem to be the most critical in shortages, since the manufacturers are focussed on complete cartridges more than on the reloading market. Powder? Rather an unknown for now. Odds are for improvement later in the year.
