I just wanted to say thanks to all the contributors here, this forum has been a wealth of knowledge and I finally shot my first batch of home grown .45's yesterday and didn't have a single issue. I have been reading just about everything I can get my hands on and all the posts and finally got the Lee Pro 1000 all tuned in and made a few.....I measured and weighed and re-measured and re-weighed each about 8000 times and all went well, so I made 50 more and they were all flawless.....no hiccups at all. I do have to say that first trigger pull on that first round was a little sketchy though..lol.....but again, thanks guys!......I owe you all a round! :-)

I know, it felt so weird when I loaded up that first magazine of reloads, closed my eyes, clenched my teeth, and started shooting......and nothing bad happened. :)

Dang, those look too pretty to shoot! Those look like they need to be put in a shadow box or something. Congratulations, you are now on the path to Sheer insanity. Wait til you wake up and the first thing you do is check the powder supply websites to see if any powder became available.
