It's really a Smart Loader---a copy of Lee, made in China, go Lyman---just like my melting pot that went to heck within a year and Lyman wouldn't do anything about it. It was a great co. at one time.

It's really a Smart Loader
Are you sure? This is what shows on smartreloader's website - http://store.smartreloader-usa.com/PrimingTools.aspx
The Lyman hand primer looks much more substantial and ergonomic with square instead of round primer tray in comparison.

Floyster: My two cents on the Lee Ergo: I love my Lee Dies and I had the
original Lee Auto Hand Primer for 30 years and thousands of primers inserted.
Then after my handle broke I discovered Lee no longer makes replacement parts and I bought the Lee Ergo Primer. I now dread reloading! I have trouble each & every time I use it. I spend more time fiddling with it than priming! It is a great time consumption device. It is not what the original was. Having
emailed Lee several times they did send me, free of charge, both small and large tray covers. Didn't help. I know it has to be held at a 45 degree angle, I read
and retread the instructions every use. It does not work for me. I cannot understand why the covers do not lock down better and the intended purpose of the "elevator rod". Lee told me if I send it to them tell will inspect it and send me a new one if it is defective. I am not spending the money for postage and as soon as I can purchase the new Lyman hand primer, the Ergo will be listed on EBay. I am glad to hear of someone that it does work for. As I said, just my two cents.
