Hi everyone,

New to reloading (terrible time to start) and trying to get everything I need. I am looking for hornady lnl shellplate 8, but cant find it anywhere. Anybody know of a website thas has any in stock, besides ebay. I dont want to pay $75 to $100 for an item that goes for $30-$40. I know supply is scarce but there is a line and over 100% mark up is ridiculous.

Welcome to the club. The #8 isn't anywhere to be found. I have scoured the internet many times and checked every local store I could find. I'm not willing to pay what they're asking for on eBay, just like you, so I put one on backorder and I'm waiting it out. Good luck.

Yes, I have 2x #8's and one #6 Shell Plates, new and in the box!

Don't know why when I started I had so many shell plates but my mistake might help someone!

I have been looking for a #8 for about 1.5 years. I have never seen one at my local Cabelas and did not want to back order one.

I called Hornady and they said the only way I can get one is to back order it.:fire:

I have been unable to load 9mm on my LNL for as long as I have owned it!

I back ordered it on Midway 3 months ago.......:barf:

I've had one on back order with Midway for a good while too. I've had a couple back ordered items come in stock well ahead of when they projected so hopefully that happens for you.

I have a #8 shell plate that I'd gladly trade for a #45 shell plate (for 45ACP) if anyone is interested. I will also have an additional #8 shell plate in my hands within the next couple days. I don't mind letting it go for what I paid for it (retail price - I don't believe scalping / taking advantage of the panic). If anyone is interested in a swap please let me know. I really want the #45 shell plate to complete my reloading setup!

I have a #8 that's for the press with the wire case ejector. I upgraded to the new base and use the plates with the groove on the bottom.
